about me

who am i?

I’m a freelance writer based in Toronto (O Canada!) with a passion for telling stories—yours and mine.

As a content marketing writer and copywriter, I write for businesses (B2B and B2C) and individuals that are looking for sharp, compelling, relatable copy. If you need a website copy refresh, or an SEO-friendly blog post, or anything else that involves stringing words and thoughts together to create a story that captivates your reader—I’ve got you covered.

I also write personal essays about parenting, identity, and the ever-elusive quest to living a meaningful life. My work appears in ELLE Canada, Today’s Parent, The Lily/Washington Post, Insider, and other publications.

Prior to jumping into the full-time freelance life, I worked in various marketing and communications roles where I got the chance to flex my writing skills while producing analytical research reports, e-newsletters, social media captions, and more.

After moving on from my acclaimed blog where I documented my experience with cancer, I created my newsletter on Substack called Thank You for Sharing (P.S. please subscribe!). I’ve been told by many that I express things in a way that makes readers feel like I’m “inside their brains” and I can’t think of a bigger compliment.

When not working or wrangling my two rambunctious little boys, you can find me hanging out with my husband, binge-watching the same TV show you’re probably watching right now, and enjoying large amounts of sushi. I feel extremely privileged to spend my time doing what I love to do, and—hopefully—making a difference through the words I put down on the page.
